When people hear that I’ve written a book about breast cancer, they often assume it’s only about treatment, side effects, or medical advice. But this book is about so much more than that.

It’s about life.

It’s about the women behind the diagnoses, the women who keep living, laughing, crying, loving, and building futures — whether they are newly diagnosed, in remission, or living with secondary breast cancer.

Why I Wrote This Book

When I was first diagnosed at 28, I felt completely alone. I didn’t know anyone my age who had been through breast cancer. I searched online, joined groups, and turned to films and TV — but what I found was mostly fear, tragedy, or silence.

What was missing were the stories of women living well after diagnosis, women embracing joy while navigating treatment, and women thriving with cancer as part of their lives.

So I decided to find those stories myself.

Through social media, charity events, treks, and countless conversations, I have connected with some of the most incredible women. Some are still in treatment. Some are years down the line. Some are living with secondary cancer and finding new ways to make life beautiful. All of them are strong, inspiring, and real.

What You’ll Find Inside

This book is a collection of their voices — and mine. It brings together stories that are:

✨ Honest — about the fear, grief, and uncertainty that come with a diagnosis.

✨ Hopeful — because there is life during and after cancer, even if it looks different.

✨ Practical — with real tips from women who have walked this path.

✨ Inspiring — showing resilience, courage, and the many ways we rebuild our lives.

It’s not a sugar-coated version of cancer. It’s raw and real. But it’s also filled with moments of light, laughter, and love.

Who This Book Is For

🌸 Anyone newly diagnosed, searching for reassurance.

🌸 Those living with secondary breast cancer who want to see stories that reflect their own experiences.

🌸 Friends, partners, and family members who want to understand better what their loved one is going through.

🌸 Survivors who want to feel seen and connected to others.

This book is for anyone who has ever asked, “Is there really life after cancer?”

Why This Book Matters

For too long, the conversation around cancer has been dominated by fear and silence. We hear the statistics, we see the tragic storylines on TV, but we don’t hear enough about the everyday courage it takes to keep living — with cancer, after cancer, and sometimes alongside cancer for many years.

This book is my way of changing that. It’s proof that while cancer may shape us, it doesn’t define us. That there is community, joy, resilience, and hope.

At its heart, this book is about reclaiming our stories.

Because every scar tells of survival, every journey has meaning. And every woman — no matter her stage or diagnosis — deserves to know that she is not alone.

📖Beyond The Diagnosis launches on October 1st, 2025. I hope it will be the companion you need, the voice of reassurance on hard days, and a reminder that your life is still full of beauty, strength, and possibility.
